"Fence Jumper" Arrested By US Capitol Police

"Fence jumper" arrested by US Capitol Police today.

On Monday, April 26th, the US Capitol Police has confirmed that they have in custody a "fence jumper", who entered without permission inside the perimeter fence.

"At 11:38 pm a man scaled the fence along First Street, SW. The suspect, 22-year-old Marc Beauchamp of Henrico, VA, was immediately stopped by several officers and arrested for unlawful entry," the US Capitol Police said in a statement. 

Following an investigation, it has been revealed that "The suspect illegally parked a vehicle on the grass near the Lincoln Memorial."

At this time, investigators believe this was an isolated incident but the investigation is ongoing.

 

President Biden is slated to address the U.S. Congress on Wednesday, his 99th day in the Office.
