In the late-night Twitter announcement, President Trump says that he and the First Lady Melania Trump have tested positive for COVID19.

Pandemic just got a little bit more real. Moments ago, President Trump informed the Americans and the world at large that he and the First Lady have tested positive for coronavirus.

“Tonight, @FLOTUS and I tested positive for COVID-19,” Trump tweeted, adding that they will begin their “quarantine and recovery process immediately.”

The First Lady also confirmed the news. “As too many Americans have done this year,@potus & I are quarantining at home after testing positive for COVID-19″, she tweeted. “We are feeling good & I have postponed all upcoming engagements. Please be sure you are staying safe & we will all get through this together”, she added.

After months of doing daily tests and keeping himself safe from coronavirus, Trump who is 74 years old and the First Lady will need to go into 14 days quarantine. At this time, we have no information if Baron Trump is infected too. Hope Hicks, who as Trump said, worked very hard and without even taking small breaks, brought the virus into Trump’s inner circle.

Trump had on his schedule for Friday closed-press call on COVID-19 support to vulnerable seniors and he will proceed with holding the event. The Friday rally, however, has been canceled.
